Remembrance Day services scheduled for Calgary on Nov. 11, 2024:<\/h3>\n

Field of Crosses<\/strong><\/a>, 200 Memorial Dr. NW
\nA televised Remembrance Day Ceremony is held at the field at 10 a.m.\u00a0 Parking is very restricted in the parking lot adjacent to the field this day. It is recommended that people park on the South side of the river in the Eau Claire area and walk the short distance across the bridge to the field.\u00a0 Memorial Drive, directly in front of the Field of Crosses, will be closed from 9 a.m. until after the ceremony.<\/p>\n

The Military Museums<\/strong><\/a>, 4520 Crowchild Trail SW
\nOutdoor ceremony with VIPs and guests of honour arriving at 10 a.m., with the Last Post played at 10:57 a.m. to begin the service.\u00a0 For those unable to attend we will also be hosting a virtual event which will be live-streamed on our Facebook page beginning at 10:20 am.\u00a0\u00a0 There will be limited parking available on site in the field to the east of the Parade Square. Parking is also available at the Flames Community Arena to the South.\u00a0 Note that access to TMM from the arena is through a pedestrian gate in the arena fence.\u00a0 Please dress warmly, and plan to arrive early as past events have been well attended.<\/p>\n

The Royal Canadian Legion<\/strong><\/a>, 1415 14th Ave. NW
\nServices will be held at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium this year.\u00a0 Doors open at 9:30 a.m. and the ceremony will begin at 10:30 a.m.\u00a0 Services will also be held at individual legion branches; check details for ceremonies at specific locations throughout the Calgary area.\u00a0 There will be free parking available for attendees in the Jubilee’s outdoor parking lot and parkade.<\/p>\n

Hangar Flight Museum<\/strong><\/a>, 4629 McCall Way NE
\nLive in person and on CTV and\u00a0CTVNewsCalgary.ca<\/a>\u00a0at 10:30 a.m.\u00a0 In person service will be outdoors, please dress for the weather.\u00a0 Doors open for arrivals at 9:30 a.m.\u00a0 Open for admissions by donation beginning at 12 p.m.\u00a0 Additionally, we will be a drop-off location for donations to the Veterans Association Food Bank.<\/p>\n

Kerby Centre<\/strong><\/a>, 1133 7th Ave. SW
\nService in the Kerby Centre Auditorium from 10:30 a.m. to Noon.<\/p>\n

Canadian Pacific headquarters<\/strong><\/a>, 7550 Ogden Dale Road SE
