You can only purchase a gift for someone who is eligible for membership with the National Association of Federal Retirees. Membership is open to anyone paying into or receiving a pension from Canada’s Public Service, the RCMP or the Canadian Armed Forces, federally appointed judges and to honourably discharged non-pensioned veterans. Anyone receiving a survivor benefit from the pensions mentioned above is also eligible.
You sure can. We may be named the National Association of Federal Retirees, but that’s just because we’re working to make retirement better – many of our members are still working! You can purchase a gift for anyone who is eligible for membership, even if they aren’t retired.
